HElp wit story plzz

HI u guys, hope eveyones doing good...

Ok, so i have to write this short story but it has to be like 5 to 45 pages. And i have no idea what i should write right my story about, so i need you guys help to answer this questions so i can begin my story lol
Should my story be fantasy or real???
should it have a direct ending or a continuing one?
and the last question i can think about should it have like a major surprise twist or just have no hidden cards under my sleeve lol????

Major surprise twist! There's nothing funnier than you thinking the person going, "WHAT THE F*CK!?" when they might get to that part :3

unless ou have a cliff hanger.... you could do a little of both have a fantacy sory that sounds like it could happen. and if you do suprises you cannt make them all oer the place or super far fetched
